Why Most Struggle with Prayer
“The reason why most of us struggle with prayer is it is very hard to pray when you want to hang onto stuff and when you know you’re really quiet and you’re really honest the Holy Spirit keeps bringing it back up.”
(Chip Ingram from his series Holy Spirit).
Helping People with God’s Truth
We want you to know that there’s a special place here just for you!
A Place for Learning…Our learning is centered on the Bible, the vital ingredient of our spiritual growth. We accept and believe the Bible as God’s Word for man, possessing truth, authority, and relevance to life today. It is an exciting discovery!
A Place for Growth…Anyone at any age can find opportunities for growth and development. A variety of activities provides more than once place where you can be personally enriched for the glory of God.
A Place for Service…Just as Jesus came “not to be served, but to serve…” (Matthew 20:28) we accept our responsibility to reach out in love by serving others as we serve God.
A Place for Worship…Our primary reason for gathering together every Sunday morning is to worship our risen Savior. We seek to focus our attention on God when we worship, giving Him honor. Ironically, as we focus on Him, and not ourselves, we are blessed.
A Place for Friendship…We make it a priority to build lasting bonds of friendship between the members of our church family and with visitors and the community around us based on genuine care and concern for one another. There is always room for you in this circle of care.
